1. Description of Service

LotLens is a product of Crafbyte Inc. ("we," "us," or "the Company") that provides auction fee calculators and landed cost estimation tools via:

• A Chrome Extension that overlays calculation data on IAA and Copart auction pages;
• A website at getlotlens.com including a standalone web calculator;
• A Telegram Bot for on-the-go fee calculations.

The Service is designed for Canadian auto dealers and brokers to estimate the all-in landed cost of vehicles purchased at US auto auctions.

2. Accuracy Disclaimer

Specifically:

• Fee schedules are based on publicly available auction rate tables and are updated on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that fee data is current or accurate at the time of your calculation.
• Exchange rates are sourced from official Bank of Canada data and updated daily. Rate fluctuations between the time of calculation and the time of purchase are not accounted for.
• Provincial tax rates (GST, HST, PST, QST) reflect our best understanding of current law. Tax regulations change; users are responsible for verifying applicable rates with a qualified tax professional.
• LotLens output is a decision-support tool, not financial advice. No output from the Service should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or bid on any vehicle.

Users should verify all fees, taxes, and costs directly with the relevant auction house and their own advisors before committing to any purchase.

3. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure;
• Any data or calculations will be free of inaccuracies;
• The Service will be compatible with all browsers, devices, or auction platforms.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Crafbyte Inc. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Reliance on incorrect or outdated fee calculations;
• Losses incurred on vehicle purchases or bids made using the Service;
• Service interruptions, downtime, or data loss;
• Any other use of or inability to use the Service.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

5. Acceptable Use

By using the Service, you agree that you will not:

• Abuse, overload, or send automated requests to our API beyond normal usage patterns;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract source code from the Chrome Extension, website, or bot;
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its outputs without written permission from Crafbyte Inc.;
• Use the Service to facilitate illegal activity, including tax fraud or money laundering;
• Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions, access controls, or rate limits;
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service.

Violation of acceptable use terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

6. Subscription and Billing

6.1 Plans and Pricing

LotLens offers paid subscription plans billed on a monthly basis. Current pricing is displayed on the Pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by emailing [email protected]. Upon cancellation, your access will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

6.4 Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-month, you retain access for the remainder of the paid period but will not receive a prorated refund. Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion for documented technical failures on our part.

6.5 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will notify you and attempt to retry the charge. Access may be suspended after repeated failed payment attempts until the outstanding balance is resolved.

7. Intellectual Property

All code, design, data, branding, fee tables, and other content comprising the LotLens Service are the exclusive property of Crafbyte Inc. and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service solely for your internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.

"LotLens," "Crafbyte," and associated logos are trademarks of Crafbyte Inc. You may not use these marks without prior written consent.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with or references third-party platforms including IAA, Copart, Bank of Canada, Stripe, and Telegram. These platforms are independent and have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, actions, or availability of any third-party service.

Use of IAA and Copart platforms is subject to their respective terms of service. LotLens is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by IAA or Copart.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we determine that you have:

• Violated any provision of these Terms;
• Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity;
• Failed to pay outstanding amounts.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including limitations of liability and IP ownership) shall survive.

10. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada. You waive any objection to the laying of venue in such courts.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Crafbyte Inc. with respect to the Service, and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
